We met up with Hannah in her Colorado home and spent some time at the roping arena. Hannah’s been singing in bars since she was 12 on the kenai peninsula of Alaska and performing in church since she was 3. A collegiate singer at Wartburg college, Hannah took an internship in Colorado where she was eventually able to pursue her passion of horses and helping others. Team roping became a therapeutic outlet from the stressful caseload as a trauma therapist. Hannah now utilizes horses, animals and musical interventions in her therapeutic practice where she serves teens who have experienced complex trauma.
