I Restored my Wife's Game Boy Color (and Pokémon Pinball) - Retro Video Game Repair and Detailing
Full DIY restoration tutorial of the Nintendo Game Boy Color and Pokémon Pinball rumble pack game cartridge followed by some quick retro gameplay footage. If you watch until the end, I included a small clip of my bass cover of Pokémon Red and Blue's intro music.
I take you through the step by step process of tearing down and dismantling the Game Boy Color as well as the Pokémon Pinball rumble pack game cartridge and show you how to properly clean and restore the internal and external components. Both the Game Boy Color and game cartridge were in pretty good shape and just needed a proper clean. My wife was happy to be able to relive a part of her childhood, I just hope she will let me play with them now that they are in working order again :).
