Believe it or not, the Gangsta's Paradise actually existed in one of the most crowded cities in the world, Hong Kong. The Kowloon Walled City was this tiny rectangle of anarchy that looked like it belonged in Bladerunner or Cyberpunk 2077. A political mistake from the Opium Wars meant that this walled city was outside the jurisdiction of any government. A true Gangster's Paradise from Coolio's song, criminal organizations ran this city of 50k people until the Hong Kong military eventually evicted everyone. What happened?
