PROXYCHAINS Setup on Kali Linux | Tutorial in 4 Minutes | Become Anonymous!
Another simple video for users with some knowledge of Linux.
We are taking our Kali Linux machine and anonymising the IP address, so that we are masked when carrying out penetration testing.
It makes it much harder, but not impossible to be traced.
00:00 - 1. Proxychains introduction and warning.
00:20 - 2. Editing the proxychains4.conf file.
02:04 - 3. Start the TOR service.
02:42 - 4. Issue the 'proxychains' command to anonymise your device.
03:20 - Visit www.dnsleaktest.com - To see which proxy/country you are now anonymised with.
Very useful technique when trying to test a client site. This is just an overview, but I will produce a more details video on proxychains in the future.
