This mix was a long time coming... Ever since hearing 'Goodbye Hands' in 2013 I've wanted to dedicate a set to this man's beautiful work. Tokyo Prose (aka Sam Reed) is a lucky bugger. Not only is he a very talented producer of some of the finest soulful liquid out there (ranks up there with Lenzman and LSB imo), but he also gets to live in New Zealand, a country I bloody love! I've featured his tracks in several mixes over the years, noticeably my 'Rainy Days' series, due to his emotive & melancholy sound, and every time I see a new release from him I just know it's going to be quality.
Presented here is a 75-minute mix featuring some of my favourites. If anything got left out (Ventura, Sunsets, Covet, Windtalkers, to name a few) it's only because I just couldn't get them to mix with anything else I've featured.
