When most guitarists practice the bending technique they get so caught up in the physical motion that they never stop to listen to if they are doing it right.

The truth is that great-sounding bends is only 20% about the movement and 80% about listening to hit the right note.

Once you can bend to the right note, then you can practice developing the muscle memory of what a correct bend feels like and how much force you need to play the bend correctly.
