I have been trying to figure out what exactly I have in these two SKS carbines.
They’re both Triangle 26 carbines.
The first is a 1960 “Letter series” rifle, I put it in a Russian stock because it had a jungle stock when I got it. Wish I’d kept that stock, it actually fit well.
The second appears to be a triangle 26 type 56 carbine from 1973, but it doesn’t add up. Has a pressed and pinned barrel, and has Norinco roll marks on it which came much later. Maybe it’s a commercial carbine, but maybe it falls in some weird category.
@Triangle26 can you help me out?
