Understanding Customer Actions in the Buying Journey
Starting out, intent data is actions and engagements that a future customer, a potential buyer, someone that's meeting your ideal customer profile, are engaging with throughout their buying journey.
So I always like to look at it from the perspective of a consumer example that we can relate to.
For example, if I'm looking for a new couch, and I'm searching online for "best pull-out couches," maybe that shows that I am an engaging prospect looking to buy a couch.
But what if I am a customer prospect searching for "CB2 pull-out velvet couch" versus "Wayfair pull-out couch"?
