Back when the first version of S K Y got released on RaceDepartment, we released S K Y D R E A M, a variant of S K Y. Its intent was to simply add more bloom, but later got removed because it felt unnecessary to add a variant that... only adds bloom. You can easily lower or increase bloom yourself via the ppfilter app. Now, the new S K Y D R E A M will be different; it will look closer to the original S K Y for SOL (meaning it won't exactly look the same as S K Y), it will use a different exposure tech and offer more options to fine-tune the visuals, as well add some spice for night time!
Everyone can now try it out!
S K Y 1.6 is in development: colors will be more accurate, will fix some of the sore issues, new options will be added and there will be a new HDR setting for HDR users! It is planned to be released on RaceDepartment sometime after a new Pure update comes out!
What's next for A N X M O I A in Year 2:
My big plan for 2023 was to create content at least 2 to 4 times each month on Youtube, since February... lol what a failure. Instead, this whole year I spent my free time coding ppfilters. As unexpected, I didn't have enough time for video content. I could only make videos about my ppftilers. Script making takes a lot more time than I thought, especially as a beginner self-taught coder. Every time an improvement is done, something larger needs to be done, and... it just builds up unexpectedly until you don't have enough time to focus on other stuff such. This caused me to announce A LOT of false promises and delay the announcements of contest winners.
Now I can spend more time for commissions and video content. Balancing time has been something I've been trying to do, but since I've reached a new learning phase for coding, I'll have more time for Youtube.
In year 1, the priority shifted towards ppfilter developments/showcases. In year 2, the priority will shift back to video content, meaning much more content for Youtube and Discord. Hopefully it's not a false promise this time!!
Anyways, I don't want to write for too long! I think you guys go it. This is a big update to let you guys know what's up and what's the future of A N X M O I A.
