Fishing the Lower Susquehanna in my Vibe Sea Ghost 130 (Surprise Catch!)
On July 4, 2018 I took a late afternoon trip down to the Lower Susquehanna with my Vibe Sea Ghost 130 kayak to see what I could catch. I decided to launch out of a ramp I had never used before so I was fishing water that was new to me. They were running a good amount of water through the turbines so the current was brisk, but the Sea Ghost handled it with no issues at all. My medium light spinning setup is a Field & Stream Tec Lite 6'6" light action rod with a Pflueger President 6930 reel and 12 lb. test J Braid line. My ultralight spinning setup is a Fenwick Eagle 6'6" light action rod with a Penn Conflict 1000 reel and 10 lb. test Power Pro line. Music is "Sabrosa" by the Beastie Boys. Enjoy!
