Upper Chesapeake White Perch Run 2024!
Mid-March means the white perch spawning run in the rivers and creeks of the Upper Chesapeake Bay. I head down that way to meet up with my father and brothers for a perch fishing session. Double jig dropshot caught fish, as did a double shad dart rig and, once the tide brought the water level down, the float & fly produced, too.
