Tiny Creek Fishing
Fishing a tiny southeastern Pennsylvania suburban creek with ultralight spinning tackle on a late June evening. My rod is a 5’4” St. Croix Trout Series (ultralight power, fast action), my reel is a Pflueger President 20 spooled with 6 lb. test Berkley Unifilament (white, which is easier for me to see) and a 4 lb. test Berkley Vanish fluorocarbon leader (which is harder for the fish to see). I used a Trout Magnet jig head (1/32 oz) with a 1” Gulp minnow (Black Shad color) and with a 3” Berkley trout worm (red).
