Philly Suburbs Summer Creek Fishing & L.L. Bean Tackle Sling Review
On Sunday August 18, 2019, I headed out to a local creek in the western Philadelphia suburbs to try out some new micro plastics and my new L.L Bean tackle sling bag. My outfit for this video was a 5’4” St. Croix ultralight Trout Series spinning rod with a Pflueger President 6920 spinning reel spooled with 6 lb test Berkley Unifilament line and a 4 lb test Berkley Vanish fluorocarbon leader. My lures were: a 2” soft plastic mayfly in motor oil color from Crawdads (eBay), a 1” gulp alive minnow in black shad color, and the Eurotackle Metacraw in brown, all on a 1/64 oz Trout Magnet shad dart jig head.
