Should you do a water fast?

I did a 7 (well 6 1/2 day) water fast,
For me I incorporated watermelon and cucumbers on the days where I had a heavy schedule of massages to do. Eating these two things helped to maintain energy.
I would say that on those days it was not more than 200 calories consumed. (Yikes I know.....that watermelon was so refreshing too)
