It’s actually a hard question to answer. In the past, you were considered dead when your heart stopped beating.
But today, it’s not uncommon to be resuscitated after cardiac arrest using electrical devices like defibrillators or even simple CPR.
That’s no small feat: we can literally bring people back to life who are clinically dead.
