(Official) Genshin Version 5.0 Banners & Reruns, Kinich & Maulani Weapon Details
New information about version 5.0 banners has surfaced. And it looks like there will be no Zhongli, Wriothesley or Shenhe reurn in this patch.
The info comes from reliable sources like, Hakushin and Uncle Dim, so it will most likely stand correct. According to the new info Zhongli and Wriothesley will be replaced by Raiden shogun & Kazuha.
So the new banners for version 5.0 are, Maulani & Kazuha in Phase 1. While Kinich and Raiden Shogun will appear in Phase 2. There is no information about Kachina, and other 4 star characters yet but Kachina is most likely to appear in Phase 1 along with Maulani.
The weapon banner this time is a real catch since all the weapons are top-tier and versatile for other support characters as well. For Phase 1, we have Maulani's signature weapon, Surfing Time, and Kazuha’s Freedom Sworn.
Surfing Time is a 5-star catalyst with a 542 base attack, and 88.2% crit damage as sub-stats. Its passive increases max HP and normal attack damage of the equipping character. The normal attack damage bonus depends on the number of Scorching summer stacks. Every 1.5 sceonds, when the normal attack hits an opponent 1 stack will be removed but triggering vaporise reaction will add one stack.
Phase 2 will feature Kinich’s signature claymore, Mountain King’s Fang, and Raiden Shogun’s Engulfing Lightning. Mountain King’s Fang is a 5-star claymore with a base attack of 608, and 33.1% crit rate as sub stats. Its passive increases elemental skill and elemental burst damage of the equipping character, but the amount of buff gained depends on the number of canopy favor stacks. And these stacks can also be gained by triggering burgeon or burning reactions.
