How to install a new Gas/Throttle Pedal in 79-83 Toyota Pickup/Hilux
Today I'm installing a new gas pedal for the 1980 Toyota Pickup Long Bed! When the floor on these trucks rusts and rots away, the hinge for the OEM accelerator pedal also deteriorates, and the pedal becomes detached from the floor. The original pedal, part 78010-89102 has been long discontinued by Toyota. But there is a newer Toyota Hino truck in Japan, that has a very similar pedal to the 1979-1983 Toyota. I'll show how to install the pedal into these early Toyota Pickup Trucks.
