We surprised Dorothy, Manilla, and Cali with luxury airplane seats on Qatar Airways’ Q Suite, and it turned out to be the best travel day ever. We are so grateful to Qatar Airways for this unforgettable journey. Traveling as a family can be quite the adventure, but they made it so comfortable and memorable.
This summer has been packed with so many amazing moments, and for the journal's sake, I wanted to capture it all here. Dorothy graduated from elementary school, and we took a nostalgic trip back to Colorado where Jess grew up, reconnecting with her old coach who has always been important to her. Dorothy also attended soccer camp at my alma mater BYU, which made me incredibly happy. We spent quality time with my family at a cozy cabin, sang our hearts out on road trips, and had endless fun zip lining, swimming in vacation pools, and splashing around water parks. Our kids bonded in the most beautiful ways, whether they were surfing, dancing in the rain, or enjoying backyard games with friends. We had thrilling helicopter rides, wake surfing adventures behind a boat, and even saw dolphins up close. Music was a big part of our summer, with special moments around the piano, a visit from Andy Grammer to sing at our house, and seeing Justin Timberlake live. Manilla even took the stage to dance and break dance with his friends, and we had fun with lighted swords, and saw our friend's Derek Hough's performance. These moments of being together as a family are the ones we'll cherish forever.
A big thank you to Qatar Airways for partnering with us and making this experience possible. Their Q Suite service truly made this the best travel day ever. We are deeply grateful for the comfort and joy they brought to our family journey. I hope you enjoy watching our adventure as much as we enjoyed living it!
