The Forth Reading in our weekly half-hour reading series features Clarence Harlan Orsi and Matt McBride!


Clarence Harlan Orsi is a graduate of the PhD program in writing at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Go Huskers! His essays and fiction have appeared in publications including The Believer, Boston Review, Kenyon Review, New England Review, and n+1. He is an Associate Professor of English at Cecil College, a community college in northern Maryland. He lives in Baltimore, where he is a member of a community water ballet troupe, competes in a tiny food competition, and does other precious, quirky things.



Matt McBride's work has previously appeared or is forthcoming from Court Green, Cream City Review, Cortland Review, Diagram, FENCE, Guernica, Mississippi Review, Ninth Letter, [PANK], Tupelo Quarterly, and Typo amongst others. His first book, City of Incandescent Light, was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2018. Currently, he is an instructor at Wilson College where he teaches in the English department and the Interdisciplinary MFA program.
