Camera Tracking Part 1
I demonstrate the use of Color Correction on a shot that is suitable for camera tracking to improve the detail in the shot and give the Camera Tracker something to work with. I use some kind of color correction on almost all shots that need to be tracked. I use Brightness and Contrast in this tutorial to improve the detail in the shot. Then I pre-compose, moving all attributes to the new composition before running Track Camera.
After Tracking, I demonstrate the proper way to select an origin and ground plane, add Solids instead of Nulls, turn them into guide layers, and then verify the track. I also demonstrate different ways of identifying the surfaces that have been tracked and verifying that the surfaces are properly attached to the video.
