In 2019 and 2020 I spent most of my time away from all of my family and friends. On top of that, I could barely see the person who I would soon marry.
Alli and I met only a handful of months before I left on my journey. We fell in love quickly and promised to make it work while I was away. During my time on the road, we also discussed the future.
If we were to get married I wanted her to know my life plans. I told her about my dreams to tour as a music producer. I speak in such definitive ways, and I scared her into thinking I would never spend time at home.
No matter how much my music grows, family will come first. I will travel a lot but I will always come home. This song will serve as a permanent reminder of that.
