For this one the theme is Erlkonig: a song made by Frans Schubert in the early 1800s
I wanted to make the theme a little bit tricky to see what you guys would come up with, I really excited to see what you guys make

Do I have to use Game Maker for the contest?
Nope, you can use any program or programming language that you want to
May I make the game with multiple people?
Yeah you may work with as many people as you want
Why are there 2 songs? which one are we supposed to use?
I figured some people might appreciate having a non-vocal version in addition to the actual song. You can use either or both.
May I use other mixes or versions of the song?
As long as I can tell that it's erlkonig or in some way related to erlkonig you may use whichever version you wish
What factors are you judging?
I'll be mostly focusing on the originality/creativity, but I'll also be looking into how polished/finished the game is. The polish will depend on how well rounded it is based on graphics, game play, design and everything else.
Do I have to make everything myself?
You need to do the programming, but for as far as sounds or graphics you can download them if you wish
