-Xochitl = Flower
-Pilli = Prince
-Macuilli = Five
-In Tlacatli, in yohualli = Equinox. It literally means "the day, the night". Referring to both as equals, the vernal equinox marks the beginning of this time of year, where day and night are equal in length. This expression was coined here and is not canon.
-Xoxôpan = Spring [Time of greenery]

His name can be translated as the Prince of Flowers. He is also related to Macuilxóchitl, one of the 12 tonaleques, deities associated with the intake of pulque, games and parties.

Xochipilli Macuilxóchitl is known for being the god of love, of flowers, of the young sun at dawn; dance and music. His party belonged to the mobile parties of which there was no precise record regarding when they took place. Some say that it was celebrated on the 7th and 8th xiuhpohualli festivities. At his party he was honored with the intake of pulque, offerings of flowers and various dances.

On this occasion we decided to use unusual times, such as 5:8, 11:8 and 31:32 to end in 6:8, taking King Crimson and Disney-style harmonic sequences as inspiration, as well as Korsakov's Scheherazade for the minor pentatonic figures at the end.
