STEAM POWER and More! - WMSTR - Rollag, MN 2022
I spent four hours with the family at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, MN. If you find the first :30 of this video interesting, stay for the next 5:30!
There's a Steam Train ride, a Mini Steam Train ride, hit and miss motors and steam engines large and small. There's also a massive tractor parade twice daily! The WMSTR has been on since 1954 and runs for four days over Labor Day Weekend every year. I've lived within a half hour of this event for most of my life and sadly, this is my first trip. It won't be my last. I'm already looking forward to next year! We only spent four hours there. We saw a lot but really only skimmed the surface of what's there.
Take a trip back in time to the early days of internal combustion engines and the days when steam was king.
