Roland JC 120: The Legend that Gave Birth to Chorus
The amp that gave birth to the Chorus effect is the Roland JC (Jazz Chorus) 120. This is another legendary amp simulation that IK Multimedia modeled for us. They modeled TWO versions of this amp. The second is labeled CFH since it was used on Pantera’s Cowboys From Hell album. The King of Clean amps also has a rather unique distortion sound in addition to the ground-breaking stereo chorus effect.
