Don't quit when it's hard. The most important time to keep going is when you really, really want to quit, because that's when everyone else around you will.
If people are ignoring you, it could because you haven't yet honed in on your craft. If you keep going, you could be one of the few who make it through to the other side.
The only way to stand out is to be different. To go left when they go right. To keep going when everyone else around you quits.
We're in a society that values uniqueness on a macro level, but ignores it on a micro level. You won't be understood when you start, that's the nature of the world that we live in. But don't let that stop you; you've got work to do.
The reality is you will probably never be the best, but you can always be the most passionate. So if it's hard, keep going. And if it's easy, step it up to the next level.
Because where you land... that's up to you.
