Homemade trebuchet water slide ends predictably
Everyone was fine, the thing the rope was attached to didn’t survive, the guy managed to only break a few ribs and was bruised pretty bad but course walk, the Golden Retriever wasn’t on the dingy that kind of dog just likes jumping into and swimming in water and this one did it of her own accord. It still amazes me that they never really thought about where it would land, their anchor was so far inland from the water, had it been on the water’s edge it might have worked but that stood no chance of ending well. I’m glad they decided to film it.
The humor here is in the terribleness of the idea and the execution of the idea, it all ended predictably. It’s not shock value if the result was obvious from the start.
