In this video, we take a look at secrets behind the HTTYD soundtrack and what makes it so special! John Powell's score, well-crafted motifs, and themes are incredible and we take a dive into that! My friend Mutant_Cacti once again joins me today and provided an insane amount of help with the script, so thank you to him! Whether you've seen HTTYD or not (or even dislike it *gasp*), after watching the video essay, you will no doubt have a greater knowledge on what makes a soundtrack so incredible in any film and hopefully a greater appreciation for the fantastic work and effort that goes behind it!
*Charles Cornell, not James, whoops at 15m41s
We are not professional composers, nor are we considered experts in cinematic music. Nothing we say is objectively true and all of it is just our opinion, so take everything with a grain of salt and you can hopefully come to your own.

Thanks for watching, I really hope you enjoyed! :)
