This poor dog rescued by At-Choo Foundation:
"Six weeks ago, Prof. Hercules was hit by a car and was unable to walk. Left in the middle of the street, until kind Mónica Ménendez and her partner got him to a bench. That was the beginning of a beautiful team that developed, all to help Prof. Hercules who has earned his name.
Prof. Hercules' bloodwork was ok with his liver and kidney thumbs up. He got a 4DX test and that was negative, so no tick diseases. He did had multiple broken bones.
One week after rescued: Fabulous Prof. Hercules has had surgery for his 2 broken legs (on the same side), surgery for one of his furry eyes which all took 3 hours. More help is needed for his broken hips so he'll be going back later at some point for that help. Besides the normal meds for that stuff, he'll also be getting vitamins, B, E and colostrum to help with his distemper tic.
One month after rescued: He's standing! He's playing! Prof. Hercules is doing soooo well and his foster mom, Joyce is so proud of him! He's still got 1 furry eyeball and the other is healing from having surgery to remove the cyst that causes the fur to grown. Crazy stuff.
Prof. Hercules got to see Dr Marquez today and we learned that his fractured front elbow is dislocated, although the fracture is healing well. So, He will be getting another surgery to put a screw in it and also to fix his other eye that still has the fur growing. He's so special with that eyeball, but yup, he'd be better off without it, we suppose. Please continue help and prayers for him."
