This poor dog rescued by At-Choo Foundation:
"Meet Prof. David. A few days ago, He had been wandering a neighborhood and a kind man befriended him.
We are so grateful to Mr. David for making the long drive to go get him and then get him to the hospital, waiting to be seen. He is very anemic, has blood spots on his inner lips, raw skin on his face and he is pooping blood. It's also coming from his nose.
Ticks have given him erlicihia and that is what is suspected for the bleeding and anemia. Erlichia when caught, can be no biggee. Prof. David has an enlarged spleen, has ZERO platelets - needs a transfusion,... He will be hospitalized for awhile, no doubt. We LOVE him and are so very grateful for help and prayers from you."
