I am going to explain some easy step to run WordPress on your localhost.
Required: Active XAMPP Server In order to run any PHP/database application on a local computer, you need a local host Create a New Database. After you've installed XAMPP, run it and it should Download WordPress current version from WordPress.org
unzip it in a new folder in XAMPP\htdocs\newfolder
start XAMPP and follow the video steps to complete WordPress installation in localhost
