Wow Classic 101~ TBC Release Idea's Explained Further | Wow Classic Guide
I wanted to talk about my predictions on the 3 possible routes that we could go into TBC in my opinion. I know TBC has not been announced yet and with Blizz Con canceled this year I hope we get some info near the same time we would have.
I have had a blast with Classic and overly excited for the next chapter of expansions mainly around Arena pvp. I hope they take in the feedback of the community prior to launch otherwise there could be many issues like Classic had. If we seen anything from Classic it is once its released there is little Dev help. We need to fight for the release to be how we want it otherwise it won't ever be corrected after launch.
The basics of the launch minus the million other things as far as what patch to release in and many other topics come down to 3 routes. They sent an email about there ideas to vote on to select few people but we need a stronger vote and compromise so everyone is happy.
Route 1: Multiple Servers including fresh start and ones that our characters transfer into TBC like back in the day. I don't think this is as possible for they would have to maintain 2 different servers when they struggle to manage 1 as it is.
Route 2: Transfer Characters like back in the day. I would suggest adding a few things though that they didn't mention. Put gold cap of 5-15k max and give blood elf month prior to launch to level.
Route 3: Complete fresh servers. A lot of people are leaning toward this route as many of those didn't spend the time to farm up a ton of gold and want to still be on same level.
My favorite option is route 2 with the gold cap and blood elf early release. I think if you spent hundreds hours farming gold you should be able to have a leg up. At 5-10k I don't think it would be game breaking because if they announce it early enough. Everyone can have time to also hit the gold cap which wouldn't throw things out of balance then. I don't think you should get rewarded for doing no work compared to others who spent the big time investment to get ahead. This will bring people back from raid logging and force them to farm until TBC if they want to have the same edge.
Obviously these are just my thoughts and would love to hear your idea. I'm open to merge a couple of routes together to make it fair and even for everyone.
