I constantly get DM’s on my Twitter about people who are struggling to learn a certain topic, or have hit a wall in their learning. I’m usually blogging about iOS stuff, but I thought some insight into my learning process could be useful to someone out there. Obviously, my strategies won’t work for everyone, but I have done a lot of research on the topic, and have pieced together what I’ve learned from teachers and from being a student over time. I also went from Uber driver to iOS Developer at a Fortune 500 company, being entirely self-taught, so these methods work for at least 1 person. Here are some of the key facets of my learning process, from how I find information to how I retain it, in the hopes that someone who is struggling can relate and apply it to their lives.
