In this series, Mr Manual uses various vocal tones (in the chapters below) on his vintage Shure SM58 and on another mic - in this instance the Behringer XM8500
The Behringer XM8500 is currently on sale for just over £20 in the UK, you may say 'We've never had it so good.' The question is, is it any good or is it a waste of the planet's resources?
The chapters are here so you can jump between similar sections, hear the differences, and see how he moves relative to the mic. What you see, is what you get, there's no processing (only the addition of reverb) and volume levels may be a bit wild but I thought it better to leave things as they are so you know what you're getting. The song excerpt is "Mr Manual" by Mr Manual, so there are no copyright issues! Many thanks to The BRIT School for the use of facilities.
