I’ve been learning piano for the past year or so, very slowly and less surely. Like learning anything, there is a childlike exhiliration once you even remotely begin to understand or master the given subject.
But…watching my fingers sometimes hit the keys, I can’t help but imagine a bull in a china shop or… an elephant walking across the board. Beginners hands rarely possess the subtlty or grace needed to play beautifully. What substites that os the thrill of actually doing it.
