Today I will make use of a compressor, a Tube Screamer and a Mesa Boogie Grid Slammer while writing a song.
The Rough Rider from Audio Damage is an easy to use musical compressor that brings your clean sound to life. And the TSC-1 is Mercurialls take on that famous green overdrive/boost pedal that everybody uses while the Greed Smasher is an emulation of the Mesa Boogie Grid Slammer pedal, a fine boost pedal that has multiple uses.

About the tracks

I am running my T-style partscaster through an Audient EVO4 audio interface before it hits Presonus Studio One v4.5 which is my main DAW. All guitar sounds are based on a Fender Blackface amp sim with a 2x12 cab available in Presonus' own Ampire amp sim package.
The Roughrider is used on the clean track and for the solo part .
The Grid Slammer is used on the crunch track and for the solo part.
The TSC-1 is used only for the solo.
