Türkiye Scholarships is a highly competitive scholarship program which received 117000 applications from 162 countries in 2023.
Türkiye Scholarships are fully funded with the following benefits:
Full tuition fees
Accommodation for students arriving in a new country
1-year Turkish language course
Monthly living allowance
Health insurance
and Flight ticket
Eligibility Criteria are:
Citizens of all international students
Graduates or those who will graduate at the end of the current academic year.
Minimum Academic Achievement is 70% for
undergraduate candidates,
75% for graduate candidates, and 90% for candidates of Health Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
Age Criteria is:
For undergraduate programs: being under the age of 21
For master’s programs: being under the age of 30
For PhD programs: being under the age of 35
For Research Scholarship: being under the age of 50
There are 5 steps to apply for this scholarship:
1. Create your personal account on the Türkiye Scholarships Application System
2. Upload all required documents. It will also be beneficial to include your extracurricular activities and achievements in different fields.
3. List your dream university & program preferences
4. Write an original letter explaining your preferences, expectations, and goals for the future
5. Submit your application after reviewing all the stages and documents.
One of the most important parts of the application is the personal statement where candidates answer questions about their motivation to study in Türkiye and about their academic and future plans. Make sure you state your goals clearly.
For applications made online through the Türkiye Scholarships Application System TBBS, all candidates must upload the following documents to the system:
A valid identity document, - ID card or passport
A photograph of the candidate taken within the last 1 year
National exam results (if any)
Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
Transcript
International exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.) if required by the chosen university or program
International language test results such as TOEFL, DELF if required by the chosen university or program
A proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications)
Applications for Türkiye Scholarships are considered according to the candidate’s academic success, social activities, and motivation related to the chosen field.
