Record Binaural Sound with Rode AI-MICRO on iPhone
A quick tip on how to inexpensively record binaural sound on your iPhone (Or Android phone) with the Rode Ai-micro audio interface. Get a pair of inexpensive lavalier microphones!
Binaural recording is just two track stereo recording with the microphone placement being key. Lavalier microphone types and selection is awesome on Amazon. Don’t buy lavs with screw lock plugs—they will not seat properly in the Rode Ai-micro.
I'm still going to continue using my Sennheiser Ambeo Smart Headset, but it is nice to have options.
