A supernatural creature of Algonquin myth and legend, the Windigo is said to haunt and possess human victims, causing them to do unspeakable things. A devil of the Americas, the dark entity was blamed for Swift Runner's crimes... and quite possibly links to other cases of paranormal predation, such as those of werewolves, aswang and pontianak, in other parts of the world.
