Ascending Mount Ernst - Wartales 1.0 Expert - D&D in Drombach - Let's Play #20 Full Release
Remember how Celeste had such an upbeat and uplifting message? Yeah -- we've got none of that here in Wartales. No confronting myself. No repeated platforming upon death. Only the light of judgment and the ire of someone whose mom I killed sending me to my doom in the caves. Still, the exploration of Drombach continues and with it finally staying on task and completing more objectives. Sort of. Kind of. But not without some inventory management.
Wartales has DNA from a lot of other games, including Battle Brothers, Kenshi, and Mount and Blade. It's well worth the price right now and I'm excited to see where this game goes towards release. Intimated as hell, yes. But excited.
