I stumbled upon Angel Olsen when her 'Halfway Home' record came out in 2012 and this song, in particular, has always stuck out to me since. Funnily enough, she came up in a Punk Rock class I took this past semester (yes, really) and I fell in love with her all over again. This song, lyrically and sonically, is so intimate and hauntingly beautiful; listening to it feels like peeking through the crack in the door as she's playing, but she doesn't notice you there. It felt appropriate to record it on my bedroom floor in the middle of the night.

Some blips and blops here and there, but it's real and it's late. Enjoy.
