In this video, we can see how the Mexican Army and Navy conduct ground operations, as well as their interaction with the Mexican Air Force's air operations. The exercises are conducted at the National Training Center located in Santa Gertrudis, Chihuahua.
This training center began operations on January 1, 1999, with the aim of training commanders, assistant commanders, troops, and services of the Mexican Army and Air Force, and in joint operations with agencies of the Navy, in the execution of military operations in the field to defend the integrity, independence, and sovereignty of the Nation.
The armored reconnaissance regiments and infantry units carried out their offensive with the following movements:
ARTILLER PREPARATION.
FIRING MISSION: MARINE BATTERY.
OFFENSIVE OPERATION.
a. Advance of the armored units.
b. Firing from a firebase.
c. 90 mm cannon fire.
d. Advance and machine gun fire from the scouts.
e. Encirclement operation by an armored squadron.
f. Advance and fire from anti-tank units.
g. Consolidation, exploitation of success, and pursuit by infantry units.
