CAD, CAM & CAE Laboratory @ Darshan University
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Darshan University has a state-of-the-art CAD, CAM & CAE Lab. It has 40 computer workstations with advanced graphic cards and the latest software. It has all the advanced designing and drafting software like Autodesk AutoCAD, PTC Creo Parametric, HTRI Xchanger Suite, etc. With the help of CAD software student can present their ideas into drawings and 3D models and can explore new possibilities in the mechanical engineering design.
The Augmented Reality (AR) Studio is an advanced laboratory of the Department. It is a dedicated space for the exploration of cutting-edge technologies physically and imaginatively. The Lab is equipped with various software, design platforms and workstations to help students experiment and create innovations in a wide range of industries.
The Rapid Prototyping Lab at Darshan University is equipped with a 3D System’s CubePro Duo and Flash Forge Adventurer 3 Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D Printers. This equipment provides the complete Reverse Engineering (RE) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) solution to the industry. In this laboratory, students are working on various industrial projects as a part of consultancy work and under the #EarnWhileYouLearn program.
