How To Turn On or Off Auto Save in Visual Studio Code

Go to File. Then turn on Auto Save. Auto Save can automatically save and show instantly on the live browser. We can also customize the time frame of the autosave. Click here on the gear icon and go to Settings. Type json. Click on Edit in settings.json. Add "files.autoSaveDelay": 1000, 1000 milliseconds is equivalent to 1second. Now the autosave will be repeated every after 1000 milliseconds. You adjust the milliseconds to keep your desired time frame.
