In this video I use the Quantum Phaser from DxTools to phase out IBOC hash from a local station, KDDZ, on 1690 kHz running 1 kW/night about 8 miles/12 km away from my QTH in Denver, Colorado. The IBOC hash is reduced significantly with the phaser on. When the IBOC hash is phased out, you can hear KNTS in Seattle, WA or KGED in Fresno, CA on 1680 and XEPE in Tijuana, Mexico on 1700.

Software used is SDRSharp for the SDR.

I am phasing two of my low noise verticals that can be seen in my Low-noise Vertical video (The antenna in the pine and the one on the tripod). These two antennas are only about 85 ft/26 m apart.

I got my Quantum Phaser at Dxtools.com. Gerry (KB4JFM) designs and builds these and was great to work with. He also answered any questions I had.
