Fall 2023 Orientation Week for Incoming Exchange Students
The start of the academic year of 2023-2024 was joyful for us! With the arrival of our exchange students to our campus we held an orientation week with various activities for their integration to the campus and life in Istanbul.
Beginning with a heart-warming welcome speech at the Sevgi Gönül Auditorium (SGKM), students got their first taste of the university's vast array of services offered by the OIP and ICO offices. After the informative sessions, the atmosphere turns more relaxed as students come together for a friendly game of Turkish Culture Trivia, Human Bingo in the Henry Ford Yard, and the Chill and Paint session in the lively Winter Garden. These activities encouraged connections and socializing, making the campus feel cozier.
The Student Clubs Fair offered students the chance to explore and join various student clubs. This orientation week, while filled with excitement, was also a valuable opportunity for students to get accustomed to their new academic environment and become part of the Koç University community.
