This muscle recovery food doubles as a trail mix that supplies muscle tissue with ultra fast recovery after a heavy workout. simple and cheap to make!

For body builders, it's important to find good and healthy, low fat ways to recover from heavy workouts. This trail mix was designed to do just that.

Easy to make and about 31 cents per serving, I created this recipe while I was working out HARD and needed a recovery fuel during my drive home afterward.

As a trail mix, this works great and fuels hiking and biking and other outdoor activity.

Recipe:

2 - 12 ounce boxes of California seedless raisins
1-1/3 lbs. sunflower seed kernels
2 - 16oz. jars of dry roasted peanuts
12 oz. bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
10 oz. bag of dark chocolate chunks
13 oz. bag of granola cereal (I used rolled oats and honey in this video)

Combine all the ingredients and divide into 28 individual servings (1/4 cup each)
