This approach stems from a desire on the part of the director, Sébastien Duijndam, to share qualitative information with as many people as possible about this mysterious phenomenon that affects thousands of people around the world.
To date, there is no physical proof of the reality of extraterrestrial contact. Only the words and stories of the victims give us an insight into the phenomenon. Elsewhere follows the lives of five people who have experienced close encounters with so-called extraterrestrial beings.

‘It was night. An abnormal light illuminated my room. Impossible for me to get up. I was paralysed. Little beings at the foot of my bed were watching me. They took me to their spaceship’.
Dan, Denise, Jérôme, Jean-Louis and Bérangère don't know each other, yet they all had the same experience: they were in contact with extraterrestrial beings. These ordinary, everyday people are experiencing the extraordinary.
Are they telling the truth? Are they suffering from mental illness? Is it possible that humans really are being abducted by beings from elsewhere? This documentary series explores these questions.
Emerging recognition of this extraordinary phenomenon is enabling those who have been contacted to be listened to and to deepen their understanding of these deeply moving experiences. The CERO association, in particular, supports them with the help of psychologists and hypnotherapists. Thanks to the discussion groups, the phenomenon of extraterrestrial abduction takes on a new dimension: it is no longer confined to the individual, but becomes a shared problem.
