The VLOOKUP function is super useful in Excel. As Excel evolves, other features are created that can assist in tasks we relied on lookup formulas for in the past.
In this video we look at the advantages of why you would use Power Query instead of VLOOKUP.
Four examples are demonstrated in the video. Performing common VLOOKUP tasks, but with merge queries. And looking at how merge queries simplify these tasks.
