Switching Between Abilities - Unity Game Development - WIP Wed 82
There are currently two different abilities you can use in the game. The Truth Ability lets you see and reveal deceptions, whilst the Growth Ability can force plants and fungi to grow.
However, up until now, there has been now way of switching between them; it was only ever possible to use one if I made a build.
I've spent the last month overhauling the Ability System, separating the abilities into their own independent systems. Now, not only is it possible to switch between abilities, you also see which one you have equipped and its current drain status.
I'm looking forward to creating some environments in the future where you'll need to swap abilities to advance!
